Go out. Approach women. Flirt with women.

There’s no substitute for it.

Practical application is the key.

Approach women and apply the theories you’ve developed and what you’ve read.

But in saying that, there are ways of reading that are to empower you to different levels: I’ve labeled them ‘ego based reading’ and ‘growth based reading’.

Meaning can only ever exist in context, frame, paradigm, whatever you wish to call it.

Without the frame that we use to filter information, it remains simply as information. It’s only once we choose to view it from a certain paradigm that it can have any meaning to us.

Say, for example, a girl tells you that she has a boyfriend.

What does it mean? It could mean anything from she wants you to piss off before she calls security or that she wants to go home with you but she might have to field calls from someone she calls ‘sweetie’.

It’s only once you filter it through your context that it can have meaning.

This doesn’t only apply to information you’ve witnessed but also information you’ve read. The words that you read only have meaning once you choose to view it through a specific context.

The context you choose determines what you will get out of the reading.

Throughout the development of the ego we develop a strong sense of right and wrong.

As our ego strives to prove itself within this reality, it attempts to align itself with others who it perceives as right to confirm its validity and distance itself from those who it perceives as wrong to prove its supremacy.

But it’s this insistence on the duality of right and wrong that limits growth within this paradigm.

If the frame that we choose to read information by is ‘is this right or wrong?’ then we will be reluctant to take in new ideas.

If we’re constantly just trying to reinforce our current perceptions then growth won’t occur. This is the limitation of this context. This is the limitation of ego based reading.

If your highest desire is to prove how right you are and how wrong everyone else is then ego based reading will serve you very well. But if you are in this game to grow as a Man then another context will empower you much more.

Growth based reading isn’t just about trying to take as much information in as possible.

A lot of information out there moves in different directions, or is even contradictory so it will only serve to confuse you if you try and take all of it in.

Growth based reading is about holding a context when reading of empowerment.

How is this information going to empower me to achieve the greatest amount of growth as a Man?

It’s about taking the information you receive, applying it to specific examples in your life, and assessing it to see whether it will allow you to achieve your goals most effectively.

Engage the literature and apply it to your world.

Take the information, attempt to understand it as best you can and see how it can move you in the direction you want to go. Not all information will empower you so disregard what doesn’t suit you but knowing that it doesn’t empower you still requires assessment of the information.

So what context is going to empower you to achieve your goals?

Well really, you can choose any context you want, it all depends on what you desire to get out of your journey.

If you desire to simply reinforce your perceptions of the world the ego based reading will serve you very well but, if like me, you desire to grow to your greatest capacity then I would suggest growth based reading.

But it’s your choice, and always will be.
