“I don’t care about what people think”, i hear someone say at least twice a week.
Are you sure?
Do you really not care about what people think?
If so, then why are you saying it to people?
Perhaps what is really happening is ..
A part of you wants others to think of you as the kind of person who doesn’t care what people think. And, if so, which part of you is it?
Why do you think it’s important to be perceived like the kind of man who isn’t influenced by opinion of others?
